Well, obviously the Chinese do not celebrate the American Labor Day! So life went on as usually for the folks here. Just to make sure you know, China is a full 12 hours ahead of the USA so today, while I am writing this blog it is actually Tuesday! Which is why I was making calls to businesses in the US and was like, “what the heck, why is nothing open! Oh yea…” lol
Last night was my first night playing all night by myself at Dukes Restaurant, where I will be for the next 6 months. The promotions team debuted one of the photos we took in front of the restaurant during the day in a beautiful frame; gorgeous! The Langham Hotel, Shenzhen is amazing! Last night after playing I ordered room service and enjoyed the House Smoked Salmon which came on a slighty seared potato patty and delectable radish sauce on the side. I also had the famous Langham Cheese cake with strawberry and raspberry deliciousness on the side to dash a top my cake, le sigh. 🙂
